Videogame Photography by HodgeDogs | #195

We think it’s about time that we started to put awareness on how amazing Videogaming Photography is becoming, so we have begun doing that by creating an entirely new section within EscapeTheLevel that will house all sorts of inspiring individuals within the videogaming photography scene.

While we have showcased some awesome individuals within this scene in the past, such as Berdu & DeadEndThrills we are renewing that pledge to supporting this growing scene and this article is one of the many showcases on the way.

We’ve decided to showcase the work of Larah Johnson, otherwise known as HodgeDogs as our first article on videogaming photography, purely because her style is so very significant that you’ve likely seen one or two of her screenshots if you’re a gamer.

Originally born in the states but now living in Sweden, Larah works within the medical industry and when she isn’t, she is spending her time playing games, and when she isn’t doing that, she is spending even more time taking photos of said games.

Larah uses a mix of tools created by some seriously creatively folks and ReShade to create the work that she does, she works with a blend of minimalism and a keen eye for imagery that imitates real-life photography.
